Faders

Faders terms of use

The terms that apply when you download and use Faders.

Last updated

Faders is distributed through the Mac App Store. Your use of it is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement together with these terms. Where they differ, Apple's agreement wins.

What you get

A personal, non-transferable licence to use Faders on Macs you own or control, as the App Store usage rules allow.

What Faders does to audio

Faders changes how loud other apps play on your Mac by passing their audio through a Core Audio tap. It does not record, store, or send that audio anywhere. You are responsible for how you use it, including respecting the terms of the apps whose volume you change.

No warranty

Faders is provided as is. It is built to step out of the way whenever it cannot help (an app at 100% plays natively, and a tap that receives no audio is released), but no software is free of faults, and Faders is not designed for situations where a volume failure could cause harm.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Remiel Shirazi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of Faders. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Privacy

Faders collects no data. The details are in the privacy policy.
